

Undecided 3As Lana's hand grasped the door knob the clicking abruptly ceased, she turned the knob and opened the door. Her mother stood there staring at her, "What in the world are you doing? I thought you were heading out!" Lana shook her head noting the darkness had dispelled from around her, "Oh, I forgot my keys," she replied pretending to grab them from the table by the door. Her mother shook her head and muttered something too low for Lana to hear and headed for the kitchen, the smirk playing across her face once more. Lana shut the door behind her and headed for her car, this time refusing to turn around. She got inUndecided 3


Undecided 2She awoke to the sound of screaming, this time, however, she knew what it was and why it was happening. "Lana! Get the hell up you're going to be late for work!" her mother screamed from the bottom of the stiars. She slowly arose, shaking off the remnants of the dream, or was it a dream she considered. The memory of it seemed much more vivid than any dream she had ever had before. She sighed and got up anyway, running for her closet to gather her close and get ready for work. Downstairs her mother wandered off into the kitchen to fix breakfast, a smirk across her face. Lana quickly dressed and came downstairs, barely hUndecided 2


UndecidedThe room was dark, darker than she had remembered it, but she still navigated through it without pausing once to avoid some possible obstacle she was unaware of. She could hear the clicking in the distance and she had to get to it, she did not know why, she just knew it was what had to be done. She quickly neared the door, the outline of it showing just barely from a flickering light within. What was on the other side she did not; could not; know. A sound echoed from behind the door, a chair scraping across the floor she thought, or maybe just hoped. She stopped a few inches before the door and listened intently, the sUndecided

The room was dark and the only bit of light was the moon seeping in through the curtains of her window.
She had that dream again, someone was shredding her with an enormous cheese grater, her skin slowly peeled away, then her muscles, then her bones scraped until nothing was left upon them.
The most terrible part for her was the pain, she felt every bit of it like it was actually happening, but when she woke up she saw she was perfectly fine, however this comforted her little.
